Founded in 2016, out of the desire for active involvement in solving medical problems in the field, AMF (Association for Functional Medicine), aims to:
- Promoting the functionality and active participation in the personal, professional and social life of people with chronic conditions and with various disabilities determined by these conditions.
- The application of the WHO concept expressed by the ICF classification (international classification of functionality) in the care of patients with chronic conditions, in medical research and in medical education.
- Promoting the concept of personalized medicine, which is addressed, adapted and individualized, to each individual patient, depending on his characteristics.
Evaluation and identification
We promote the reintegration of patients with dysfunctions, rehabilitating the affected functions, so that person can return, actively, to his/her life/activities.
